Do you take 3am posts less seriously on sex and gender threads?

I know the heatwave is making it hard to sleep at the moment, but I am intrigued by posters who log in at 2, 3 or 4 in the morning to leave bitchy comments, or long, complicated and sometimes cross-linked moans about something.

I guess some could be on holiday in a different time zone, but does anyone else treat any claims made in bitch o'clock 3am posts with a mountain-size grain of salt?

Just out of interest, what defines a ‘TRA’ to you? Simply not agreeing with you on one issue or another does not a TRA make. It’s lazy to label people this way.

Someone who disagrees with the single sex exemptions of the EQA2010 and the clarification by the Supreme Court that female means biological female is a TRA.

And actually, it would be fair to say that that is inaccurate. They're not fighting for trans rights. They're fighting to diminish women's legsl right to have safety and dignity in places where they are vulnerable and/or undressed, covering changing rooms, domestic abuse shelters, rape crisis services etc.

Women hating activists (WHA) would probably be more accurate. I might start using that.
