PRIDE: where are the men?

There was a Pride parade in my town on Sat. What struck me was that it was primarily teenage girls and mums with kids. Most wearing rainbow tee-shirts or accessories or just dressed ordinarily.

And there was a particular lack of men of any kind.

I remember taking my daughter to Brighton about 10 years ago and we came across the parade and it was full of men dressed as Freddie Mercury and Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.

Is this just my local Pride or is Pride now a family/teenage day out?

Pride has been taken over by trans zealotry. Many gay and lesbian people ate shunning it. It is openly in denial of lesbian and gay same physical body sex attraction as is Stonewall to which it is closely allied.

If people want to party in the sunshine with brightly coloured festoons, that's grand. They should just stop pretending it has anything to do with what it started out as - Lesbian and Gay Pride, at a time when it was dangerous to be lesbian or gay, when you could lose your job, your children and even your life because of it.

Cut it loose. Drop the 'Pride' in the title. It would be more accurate to call it a Transfest, but maybe keep it more general, just a fun day out - maybe not for the kids though, some of it is a bit adult-themed, right?

Nobody has exclusive rights to the rainbow - except arguably God and Noah😄- so OK, rainbow colours to the hearts' contents - but not as emblems of the lesbian and gay origins of the event.

Transwomen who are exclusively attracted to other men are gay men. The ones exclusively attracted to women are straight.

Which deters the actual lesbians from attending Pride as they don't want to be propositioned by creepy men larping as women who will accuse them of sexual racism if they get turned down.
