Apparently our Lib Dem mp has objected to the EHCR guidance because it would be unfair to women
“I am also incredibly concerned about the effect that this will have on women trying to access women-only spaces. This guidance creates a situation in which anyone can be challenged whilst accessing facilities based on how well someone else believes they visually conform to gender stereotypes. I think it is abhorrent that a woman could be made to feel they are 'not feminine enough' to access a woman's space, particularly those who have recently undergone a mastectomy or chemotherapy. This would cause embarrassment at best, and potentially huge self-confidence and mental health issues at worst. Women should be able to access services and facilities safely and with confidence. “
is it just me or isn’t this hugely misogynistic that a women is only someone with huge breasts and long hair.
