At the beginning of June my regulatory body put out a social media post complete with progress flag. Those was disappointing - what consequences could there be for me as a non-believer?
So I emailed them, anonymously and I told them why I was choosing to be anonymous. I reminded them that the progress flag is a political statement and that as a regulatory body they needed to maintain neutrality and integrity, not to mention the feeling of division their statement makes. I also reminded them that my beliefs are protected and that other public bodies have been told to remain neutral.
Change has happened, although I suspect this is a reluctant, oh bugger, legally we're on thin ice change. But today the progress post was removed and a new one post made. They're not there yet. But it's a start.
Still don't think I'd trust them if they knew my beliefs.
