GMB caught out gaslighting child grooming victim.

Watching Sammy Woodhouse speak on GMB this morning. A courageous woman, a victim herself and was on discussing the re-opening of historic cases. Previous reports and reviews admitted that the majority of these grooming gangs involved Pakistani men.

Sammy disclosed live on gmb this morning that before she went live she was told by a GMB producer do not mention the fact that the grooming gangs were muslim Pakistani men. She asked the presenters Susannah and Ed why and they were both puzzled. This is 2026 and the gaslighting is live and well. I noticed subsequent reports are showing a previous interview with Sammy rather than this mornings.

Thank you @Yddraigoldragon I will read this. However I feel I must say that I do not think he really has an interest in the abuse of women and girls but is using this to suit his own agenda. As Sammy said on GMB this morning....what has happened/ is happening involves many influential people in various organisations. They have also been part of this. Not 'just' immigrants.

Thank you for posting. I feel this report deserves its own thread. Once we have taken time to read it there will be many a discussion.

Lowe is an old fashioned gentleman. I will
vote restore because it’s a truly revolutionary party and he, unlike all the snouty trough
snufflers, is not for sale.

I cannot bear to look at Squealer Starmer. He should be on every possible news platform tonight apologising and promising retribution for these hundreds of thousands of children.

The disgraceful filthy coward.

Pleasantsort2 · 16/06/2026 22:08

Bunch o' wrang yins! Well done Sammy ! What a brave, dignified woman she is . So scunnered by the absolute lies and gaslighting surrounding the appalling rape and grooming of young girls!

Instead the Labour Party’s adopted definition of Islamophobia would seek to silence Sammy and all the other victims from talking about what happened to them.

And Starmer is far more worried about ‘community cohesion’ than bringing these men to justice.

His ministers have apparently authorised the destruction of a lot of evidence and paperwork relating to these crimes.

Evil is an overused word but appropriate in this situation.

Sammy reports that it is still happening.

ilovebrie8 · 17/06/2026 09:04

@CornishDaughteroftheDawn exactly!
It beggars belief what is being allowed they want to stop people speaking out with their laws.
I detest Starmer and cannot look at him on the TV he is a pathetic weasel of a man…I hope karma gets him.
Lives destroyed for the sake of keeping the peace utterly despicable.
Rupert Lowe has brought it to light while so many wanted it hidden and voted against an enquiry …how can any sane person do that?
I hate the mess we are in in this country.
Well done to Sammy she should shout it from the roof tops.
I’m surprised there are not more comments on this thread I was a bit confused by the thread title that it meant Good Morning Britain not GB news.

ilovebrie8 · 17/06/2026 10:11

@mrshoho maybe this should be moved to general so it doesn't get missed or hidden away.

It is not getting much response here, just an idea.🙂

This needs to be known what is happening and they are being shut down on TV and telling victims to keep quiet...

mrshoho · 17/06/2026 10:20

Have just requested.

That's a commonly used media tactic that people need to be aware of. They use a photo/ video/ interview from a previous event, instead of the most recent one, if the most recent one doesn't fit the desired agenda. There's a clear intention to mislead the viewers into believing they are seeing something from today.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 17/06/2026 10:34

I mentioned this incident on that thread.

Weeallthewayhome · 17/06/2026 13:24

I’m shocked that in a site of mums, we are not talking obsessively about protecting our vulnerable kids.

I can barely force myself to read the report. I’m ashamed to even type that sentence when I think about what these children went through.

And to think they have tried to silence survivors. Sickening.

Thank you for this. I couldn't find anything yesterday.

Notice Ed Balls never said a damn word. Why am I not surprised.

I know Sammy's said she's had an apology from the editor. But there should have been a full on air apology too. Attempting to silence any guest's lived experience, especially when it relates to abuse, is absolutely appalling.

GMB is supposed to cover the news. Not a 'version' of the news they find palatable.

I've been thinking about the issues of race, immigration, grooming gangs and rapes/violent attacks by illegal immigrants, coupled with the thread on "Why don't women riot?"

We all know that it's men who commit these crimes - and as per the thread, women are not rioting in protest. We don't know, because they won't tell us, whether men of certain races, religions, or countries of origin, commit them at a higher rate than those of other groups - if we knew this, and it turned out not to be white British men, there would be riots, presumably by white British men. That's why they won't tell us. But that suggests that they do know that men from certain cultures etc. are more likely to commit rape or sexual assault, because if white British men were more likely to do this, they would just tell us.

There is info out there if you dig around. Even More Or Less on Radio 4 had to reluctantly conclude that afghan men living in the UK were around three times more likely to be convicted of a sexual offence than a UK born person of the same age profile.
Considering the attitude towards women in their country of origin, this was about as surprising as tomorrow being a Thursday.

An apology which would never have materialised if she hadn't mentioned it on air. So, it's a meaningless apology. That producer still holds those views, the views of many in this country who would rather keep some things quiet.
