Have you thought about why this became an issue?
As you say it wasn't for many years.
Yet if you are being brutally honest with yourself you will see that the problem arose because the trans lobby didn't give a shit aboiut anything other than than transwomen (men), If the extremists on the trans side acutually gave a fuck about trans men (women) they would have stepped up to the table and had a discussion about the issue that they are causing.

But even now the trans extremists are happy to "bash back" and use violence and intimidation to get what they want.

The Quakers I know are very lovely and genuine people, but they seem to think more with their hearts than their heads. They also tend to believe that other people are just as genuine, thoughtful and kind as they aim to be themselves.

If they realised how incredibly evil some people can be, I think they'd be less likely to be pacifists - which I can understand as a moral position... but Hitler?

Maybe I'm misjudging them, but this doesn't surprise me.

Of course there will be people who continue to use the toilets that match their gender id, not their sex. Plenty of trans women are being quite vocal on that front.

Like with eg wearing a seat belt or speeding, the rules are clear and we are supposed to obey them, regardless of the fact that they can't be 100% monitored. It's up to individuals to decide how to behave.

So yes some trans people will continue to transgress. If they pass so we'll that nobody notices, they will get away with it in places where they are not known. Different at work say, or in a small community where people know. And if you can see under the doors, you can see if someone has their feet pointing towards or away from the basin.

But yes, there will be people who get away with it for whatever reason. This doesn't undermine the rules though. Most people hopefully will comply and it sends out a strong message.

Yes, the extraordinary and amazing Elizabeth Fry was indeed a Quaker.

Elizabeth Fry was a major driving force behind new legislation to improve the treatment of prisoners, especially female inmates. She made sure she had a hotline to government. She was instrumental in the Gaols Act 1823 mandated sex-segregation of prisons and female warders for female inmates to protect them from sexual exploitation, especially as so many female prisoners had their young children in prison with them.

Elizabeth Fry kept extensive diaries, in which she wrote explicitly of the need to protect female prisoners and their children from rape and sexual abuse.

The Quakers are famously accepting and non-judgemental. And I have cause to be incredibly grateful for that, for their practical help and friendship for a relative who no-one else would have had patience with, and for their support for me in that situation (I'm not a Quaker).

Whatever my own GC opinions, I wouldn't expect anything other from them, and remain in admiration of them.

Do you have any idea of the prevalence of male perpetrated sexual violence experienced by trans men?

If they experience a higher risk of violence they must accept that as a cost of their lifestyle choice. They should not expect us to assist them, we might be generous but we cannot volunteer other women to support them only our selves. They should not feel entitled to our assistance.

Transmen are female so why wouldn't you support them against male violence

Quakers are a shadow of what they used to be. I’m no longer in membership. They have lost their way.

And if women who say they are men look so much like men, because they are no danger whatsoever to men, I genuinely don't care if they use the men's loos.

'Be kind' - except to women who need single sex spaces, often due to trauma or disability, culture, faith - you'd think these so kind and tolerant people would be able to think of this and realise their own prejudices and unkindness.

It is not kind or inclusive to let men into women's spaces - if you see women as equally human.

This 'oh but you scared women will still have to encounter women who look like men' faux concern is really rather nasty and cruel. It acknowledges the fears and barriers for these women are real, and then ignores it in the ongoing focus on how to force men on non consenting women when they are undressed and vulnerable.

Some serious soul searching needed.

They are no longer, “a group […] mindful of theological rationale”. There isn’t even a necessity to believe in God.

A Quaker recently told me that the Old Testament was written by the Jews in order to excuse their awful behaviour and that it was entirely irrelevant.

The Woke Mind Virus has taken over Quakers. They are no longer Christian. They are new age ideologists. I’m sure there are still sane, decent Quakers, but they have completely lost their foundations and have broadly been taken over by entryists in positions of influence.
