Women’s rights campaigners criticise Green MP Hannah Spencer amid single sex spaces row

Women’s rights campaigners have accused Green MP Hannah Spencer of “wanting to take away women’s rights” after she attended a protest against new guidance on single sex spaces.

Spencer attended the protest in St Peter’s Square alongside Alex-Salik Imran, the newly elected Ardwick Green councillor.

Campaigners from the Greater Manchester Women’s Rights Network (WRN) said the MP’s presence at the rally put her at odds with both the Supreme Court ruling and the EHRC’s interpretation of the law.

(I know there have been a number of threads following the publishing of the guidelines of them being read in the HoC but thought a thread of shame might be instructive - or possibly the usual suspects.)

She is a useful idiot being paraded about by a number of special interest cliques in the greens. She's shown she's a rentacause just by trailing along with this lot for a start.

She's spectacularly dim.

People who literally believe men are women when they say magic words (whilst still having a full male body, bollocks, penis, 160% punch power etc) also don't understand the law or the meaning of words. Shocker.

I really feel sorry for her constituents.

Wasn't she the one who also spoke to hardline Muslim groups? Does she really not know that they're quite keen on single sex spaces and actually require them for religious reasons?

Chair of Women and Equalities Committee claim single-sex guidance is ‘hostile’ to trans people

Surely this is no surprise at all to anyone who has heard her speak on any issue. She doesn't give the impression of being a particularly deep thinker; there's a lot of 'empathy' and 'feelings', and just enough smarts to work out which gang it will benefit her politically to be part of.

We are concerned about the impact this exclusionary guidance will have on trans and gender diverse people - BMA

Bloody hell. That's shocking. Not bothered about the exclusion of large numbers of half of the population from health care then? Don't care if all your female staff feel uncomfortable in the changing room as long as one bloke is comfortable watching women undress?

The misogyny and religious discrimination in these words is utterly shocking.

It's the BMA whose chair is Tom Dolphin he/him lgbtq+ activist - a gay man who is happy to hand over women's spaces to men as it makes not one iota of difference to him or his life

I'm happy to see Hannah Spencer and the Green Party's women-hatred out in the open for all to see. The more sunlight the better. The people who still think the GP is an environmental party need to know how much it has changed, well before the next general election.

Another Pick Me Girl type . How utterly predictable. Yeah thanks Hannah for that . Nice one - not.

They really ought to have a minimum IQ test for MPs and councillors as too many are more stupid than 7 year olds. She would make a great poster girl for that rule imo.
