'We’re a non-partisan group of Alberta women who care deeply about protecting the rights of Alberta women and girls to access female only services and spaces.
Our goal is to restore women and girl’s sex-based human rights and protections in law and society.
As a registered non-profit in Alberta, we’re working to bring attention to these important issues through education, research, public engagement, and support for good policy making.
We want Alberta women and girls to feel safe speaking up about issues that impact our safety, privacy, dignity and fair treatment—and to be heard when they do.'

Fantastic to see this. Wishing you all the very best!

About Us | For Women & Girls Alberta

Alberta is the one sensible state in Canada, isn't it? This is great to see, but I think they could definitely do with orgs like this in the other Canadian states!

Dragonasaurus · 03/06/2026 21:39

That’s fab, hope it helps in other Canadian states too

ArabellaScott · 03/06/2026 21:47

Well, yes, I hope it's the start of many.

Good to know, wasn't Alberta the state who's premier made a very clear and unequivocal statement rejecting this batshittery last year.
Good luck to them, I hope they go from strength to strength and succeed in bringing sanity back to Tranada. 👍👏😁
