Good to see Katya Adler gets name checked too. ‘Not the time for this right now’ indeed. When is the time Katya? And at what point will your organisation stop referring to male rapists as ‘she’?

Bravo those hecklers and Sal Grover.

Olderbadger1 · 30/05/2026 22:29

Well done women! Proud to know you.

DrBlackbird · 30/05/2026 23:07

Good on the women but wtf with the reporting?

"Tickle successfully sued Grover for blocking her account on grounds of gender identity…"

"All three judges ruled Tickle’s exclusion from the app because she appeared to be a man…"

Quoting "Paula Gerber, a professor of human rights law at Monash University in Melbourne, described the judgment in favour of Tickle as a “victory for women’s rights”."

This wording has misleading genderist influence writ large over the article and undermines the brave two women at the festival.

Well done to those women, shame on Hay for the way they handled it, and a pox on the Times for using activist language when describing Tickle.

Gillard is now on the professional lecture circuit, she's no doubt raking it in, and all because she was the first Women PM in Aus. Because of her actions, she's likely to be the first, last and only women PM because the word women now means nothing in Aus. She needs to explain by what right does she claim to be a woman's right's champion when she's effectively erased women from Aus.
