I have been trying for a long time to get a written policy out of David Lloyds for about a year. they are still refusing to do so.

Anyone got any suggestions? And What other orgs are refusing to do it?

Is this the next trench we have to fight in? Getting the damned thing written down?

My child was a toddler then and now as a grown trans woman is not part of TRA nor believes women shouldn't have single sex spaces - please don't tar her with the same brush!

Nobody was, up until your post nobody even knew your 'trans' child existed, so why are you taking it personally.

The poster I quoted was tarring all trans women with the same brush. Why am I taking it personally? Because life is very difficult for my DD. She has horrible body dismorphia, hates her body and is regularly suicidal. She is such a gentle soul and I don't like the thought of her being put under the label of TRA when that couldn't be further from the truth.

They are scared of trans rights activists cancelling them

I am sorry for your child.

I am regularly suicidal as a result of what a man did to me.

I am entitled to women’s single sex spaces and I really need those rights to be respected.

Again, im sorry for your child, but they shouldn’t be in single sex spaces that don’t align with their birth sex.

Does your child use women's single sex provisions? Because if they do, they are part of the tra campaign and problem, I'm afraid.

I know you love your child, but that's not a pass to violate women's privacy and dignity.

Would you like to point out where I did that? In the first paragraph I referenced trans people without judgment. If you actually READ what I wrote instead of leaping to feeling hard done by, you'll see I was saying I'd have supported trans people in a campaign for additional gender neutral spaces.

In the second paragraph onwards I referenced TRAs and their behaviour. There is a distinction between 'trans people in general' and 'Trans Rights Activists'.

I'm sorry for how your child feels but perhaps he needs to be helped to accept his male body rather than everyone pretending he's a woman. But if - IF - he's using women-only spaces then yeah, in that scenario he's part of the problem.
