As others have pointed out, Guy Ingerson, who was above her on the list, was removed from the list before the election. Chapman was top, then she wasn't, then she was again. This potential candidate was also told to step down (I'd agree that was correct, but of course they allowed Mannivan).

As far as I can see, Chapman was the only Green on the North-East regional list.

I didn’t generally read the Scottish Daily Express, unless linked on here. First became aware of it during Sandie Peggie’s ET, where I was struck by their accurate pronoun use! I think they had an explanation box, which bore some similarity to NC’s reasons for referring to people by their sex. They don’t appear to be feart of calling a spade a bloody shovel, unlike a lot of MSM. And they appear to be good on women’s rights in general (from what I’ve seen). This headline is fabulous
