Has anyone else had trouble getting Michael Foran’s new book?

I ordered Michael Foran’s new book Sex, Gender Identity & The Law.

it was published a couple of weeks ago and I pre-ordered on Amazon. It was due last Friday.

This weekend I got a notification that they can’t source the book and it may be November when I get it?!

Anyone else had this trouble?
Is it just Amazon and can I source it elsewhere?
or
Is it because the publisher expected a tiny print run and has immediately gone out of stock?!

Buy direct from the publisher and cancel the Amazon order?

Update on Sex, Gender Identity and the Law As some have noticed, the demand for the book has outpaced supply. The book is now sold out on Amazon. My publisher is working to increase production to address this and we hope to restock at Amazon shortly.

Thanks all - I should have ordered direct. Michael posted a note on his Substack. The publisher will be absolutely delighted!
I wonder if this will shift publishing’s view of where their market is? Haven’t all the GC books now done really well?!

Not boasting how organised I was or anything, but I reordered it and they dropped the price by 98p or similar, so I got a little refund! Yay!

It is, of course, a legal text book and I'm no lawyer, goodness knows, but I hope it'll be very helpful in composing letters to those wretched public bodies etc who still aren't complying with the law. It's got a nice classical picture on the cover, too.
