What's so laughable about Canada & Australia declaring men are women....

Is that both are sport-orientated countries. It's gonna get awkward when the Olympics comes around and all these men-now-women can't compete on the international stage...

Because most of the world acknowledges you can't change sex by putting on lipstick and a frock.

And the women who were legitimate athletes will have either dropped out demoralised, picked up too many injuries or just plain (trans)-boycotted.

The consequences of this mania will start striking on the medal tables....but sometimes you wonder why time takes so long to tell.

Luckily both countries are democracies with slightly more women living in them than men. If/when this stupidity starts bothering the female population of either country sufficiently for them to take a concerted stance, they'll be able to reclaim their rights.

Its not going to be quite that simple for them as their version of the equality act has already removed sex as a characteristic and is based on gender.

Yeah, it's written into things like human rights legislation.

And the other thing is, being realistic, in Canada it is most often women that are supporting things liek men competing as women in women's sports. They are also the ones that make it impossible for the most part to speak out about these issues, they are the social enforces of this ideology here.
