Jordan Linden, once considered a rising star in the SNP, was convicted of five sexual assaults on young men after a trial at Falkirk sheriff court in March, which heard that the SNP had “downplayed or ignored” complaints about his behaviour.

The 30-year-old, who stood down as leader of North Lanarkshire council in 2022 after the allegations emerged, was also convicted of directing unwanted sexual communications towards seven teenagers, the youngest aged 14, including photos of himself in a bath and images of his genitalia.

One of the offences involved him sexually assaulting two victims at a house party in Dundee after a Pride march in 2019.

Evil man. And isn’t it amazing how often men who don’t value women’s boundaries or any form of safeguarding are found doing these kinds of things.

And his prince among men KC, David Moggach, claimed Linden's 2021 diagnosis of autism as a mitigating factor.

Why do the SNP protect these vile men?

Sadly, these people can be found in all parties, creeds and locations. Being in the SNP isn't indicative of anything. Since he's been found guilty noone has protected him either.

Membership of SNP or any party may not indicate such tendencies but gun-ho support for gender identity is becoming a clear common denominator.

Actually they covered up for him for years. They ignored complaints about his behaviour.

And if we add together all the political parties rampantly for ending women's privacy and dignity/child safeguarding, how many are we up to?

Isn't it odd how men arguing passionately for this so often turn out to have a bit of a personal investment? And other people's damaged lives strewn behind them.

18 months is a pathetic sentence for sexual assault that involved abuse of power and went on for 10 years.

And we really need people in the SNP who buried the complaints to be prosecuted too.

He should have been reported to the police right at the outset.

It's got nothing to do with that. It's to do with the fact that they have idiots dealing with complaints. I left the snp because a group of other members were harassing me - to the point that I had to go to police multiple times - and they did nothing.
There's a well known cybernat who likes harassing women and tweeting photos of women's houses. (He did it to me). He was reported as far back as 2015 by other ex members and HQ did nothing

They didn't even respond to me. That was long before the gender ID debate. What he did was absolutely awful but this didn't surprise me in the slightest

They won't be prosecuted. Their behaviour is appalling but it's not criminal.

The group of people who harassed me were all snp members. As was I. It started on twitter and then crossed over to my offline life. There were tweets threatening to maim me and kill me. They sent packages to my home. They reported me to the dwp for benefit fraud I wasn't committing. They doxxed me. They tweeted my address. There are hate twitter accounts dedicated to that are still up. They doxxed me hundreds of times. They doxxed my mum too. They sent police to my door to intimidate me.
One of them wrote an offensive poem about me and ten weeks later I got tena lady pants sent to my home

My personal details were put on a doxxing Blog so that complete strangers could harass me

I emailed the national secretary. Completely ignored and I know at least five other people the same gang targeted. Mostly vulnerable women
Police did nothing for any of us so they just carried on.
There are a couple of people in that party that should go and go now but they won't.

How many more of these vile individuals are going to creep out of the woodwork?

I was gang stalked for 15 months by 10 snp members. And what the ringleader used to do was copy your twitter handle into his lies and abuse - so hundreds of people were harassing you day in and day out. Every day for 15 months. I have ptsd. I'm still on medication 7 years on. I had to give up work and go back to uni.

Does John Swinney care about me. No. No one cares. I begged so many people for help. I begged my MSp. I begged my MP. I begged HQ. Nothing

Anyone who tried to help me got the same treatment

I have two phones full of hate. Thousands of tweets. And I was told not to read the worst ones.

Bloody hell. I'm so sorry. And I'm just baffled at how people still go for this party. The grift is just so fucking blatant.

I don't know why Hq are so reluctant to deal with member complaints. But they are. (that's not the only time I had to involve HQ). I was told that my complaint would be actioned -then almost a year later I got an email saying can't help go to police or a lawyer

One of the men who harassed me actually passed vetting to stand as a councillor in 2017 I think. He was de selected for tweeting animal porn. He repeatedly doxxed me. He repeatedly threatened to tweet my address. He reposted photos of my house. He was also pivotal in spreading lies about me all over twitter (to ostracise me).

When you ask for help you just get completely stone walled. My branch knew I was being harassed. My MP knew. My MSP knew.

One girl who was harassed in 2015. Her kids school was contacted. Her employer was contacted. What they also do is they get access to your Facebook by pretending to be a yes voting account and any information they find. They tweet. So my brothers name was tweeted. To intimidate me. On my 50th birthday I woke up to an account dedicated to me that basically spat out thousands of abusive tweets in my direction - it had been locked down until that point (they've done the same to others).

They stole my media. They even stole pictures of my pets and made one nasty account with his face on it

At the height of the campaign against me there were around 15 hateful twitter accounts dedicated to harassing me (troll ones) and I was the subject of a hate blog too

I contacted Humzas office. There was a man who went to his SNP MSP over me being harassed (I didn't ask him to) and he was thrown out of the office.

The snp can't say this is the first time something like this has happened. They were alerted to this gang 11 years ago.

One of them has made the national press multiple times. For all the wrong reasons.

And there were people who joined in that I had never exchanged a word with. One man got fixated with harming me. There was talk of coming to my home town with vans to find me and harm me - he also threatened another woman at the same time. He repeatedly doxxed me. They knew my name because I had booked a bus to an indy march and it was handed over. I had to see my full name and location tweeted thousands of times.

When they found my address unfortunately the same man tweeted an ariel photo with a red dot. The red dot was my flat. He also tweeted a photo of my flat with my face in the tweet (stolen media). I spent 15 months of my life terrified (and more). And the snp didn't think it was worth disciplining these members over

They didn't even think replying to an email was appropriate. There's nowhere you can go when police keep sending you away and the snp didn't care

One of the very few people who tried to stop them had his address handed over by someone in his snp branch and his family were threatened too.

He went to police 5 times. He was told no criminality

And unfortunately what this gang do is - sometimes they target the wrong person - so they think someone they hate is a certain person. So complete strangers get doxxed and threatened.

Their doxxing Blog was hosted in China. Because the stuff posted on it would have seen the pair that ran it arrested.

They've targeted some very vulnerable people. I was actually in the same branch as one of Lindens victims. I don't know Linden at all for clarification but I do know that rumours were circulating for a long time about someone's inappropriate behaviour (I didn't know the name of the person until the press story).

It's absolutely not surprising to me that these complaints about Linden weren't taken seriously. I spent more or less 9 months of my life begging for help - after the threats started and I got absolutely nowhere.

I was also sent open warnings on twitter not to go to police by this gang - or my address, which they found would be handed to lunatics (and that did happen)

One of my worst harassers campaigned for an snp MP after he harassed me and there was a bit of an uproar and she just said she wasn't aware of the concerns around him (danger to women sums it up).
