GMC public consultation on personal beliefs and medical practice

This consultation runs until 11th June. Perhaps (un)surprisingly, none of the examples include a scenario where there is a conflict between a patient’s belief in the reality of sex and the clinician’s belief in gender identity, or vice versa - but there are plenty of free text boxes.

Thanks for highlighting. I have no faith in the GMC as they have completely bought in to gender ideology but this looks like a good opportunity to input.

Thanks for sharing. It's on my to-do list

Saw this yesterday and noted they have a section at the end about the EA and PCs, but swerved any discussion of relevant issues in the doc itself.

I came across the consultation on the GMC website while down a rabbit hole looking for something else. I’ve just filled it in and came onto MN to see if anyone had already posted a link.

Still two weeks to respond if anyone else is interested, so I’m commenting to bump this thread back to life!
