Terfyn in Welsh means boundary or limit, I believe.

Bloody Taffia, as if Labour weren't bad enough. We were all so excited about devolution back in the 90s, when Ireland was the Celtic Tiger, and we thought Wales could join them. Economically and socially we were going to grow and improve, face and join the outside world.

Unfortunately, Wales has just become more and more insular and isolated and, frankly, mad and desperate for attention. Politically, I think, we have less influence now than we had then, especially since Brexit. The only thing left for politicians is sabre rattling.

And the ingrained misogyny in the Welsh ruling classes means that they won't even notice how many women and their rights they trample on in the charge to "be the most different to Westminster".

Mad as a bloody box of frogs.

Save your prayers it's too late for the 'Sanctuary Nation', PC are expected to pick up at least half of the votes that Labour loose, they're not just now embracing the Transophere they're the chief architects of in in Wales.
The only reason we don't have self ID already is because of women's rights groups, like the WRN, fighting back.

Whoever replaces Jane Hutt as Chief Handmaiden will have to face a lot of determined women who won't tawelwch (Welsh for weesht) either. 💪😁

I am so sick to the back teeth of these performative politicians looking for an election angle, to hell with the consequences for the rest of us. Devolution was not supposed to be about being different to Westminster just for the sake of being bloody different. Wankers.

Already going to have an impact. Plaid don't know what they are doing.

Plaid Cymru leader Rhun ap Iorwerth criticised after struggling to defend manifesto

Rhun ap Iorwerth has faced sustained questioning on Plaid Cymru’s stance on gender recognition during an appearance on Good Morning Britain.
Speaking to presenters including Ed Balls and Susanna Reid, the Plaid Cymru leader was asked to clarify proposals in the party’s manifesto relating to a self-identification system for legal gender change in Wales.

They never know what they are doing! SNP, Plaid, when did "independence" turn into "deny reality and ignore women"?

It's never been about independence or what is best for Wales. It's only ever about power, being at the top because you can't stand being on the bottom. Being an enormous fish in a teeny, tiny spoonful of water.

Thanks for the link, lets just hope the people of Wales are paying attention. It looks like the Omnicause loon's have bombed the comments section, I'm no fan of Ed Balls but -

"Ed Balls wife is in the pay of Israel anx Balls hss had trips to israel paid for by the Zionists. He is a very right wing member of Labour and shouldn’t be employed by ITV . Hes only abrasive to people from other parties"

😂😂😂😂😂😂

I can't believe I have to share the world with such dingbats.

BeMoreBear · 15/04/2026 13:22

Haha "dingbat" is not a word much in demand anymore- da iawn!

OpheliaWitchoftheWoods · 15/04/2026 15:56

More evidence that the left has gone entirely batshit.

Coincidentally I'm in Wales at the moment, near Machynlleth (they had a market on as we drove through (weather is vile) with a wee bunch by the clock tower with Palestine flags). I've seen a few (very few) signs for Plaid but nothing at all for any of the other parties. I think I'd predict a low turnout. Perhaps it's different in the towns and cities.

Rhun ap Iorwerth was on Good Morning Britain on ITV yesterday. Ed Balls kept asking him to defend what he said about self ID in the manifesto. He just kept repeating that it wasn't what people were voting on. Are you sure about that Rhun?

Good Morning Britain - Series 13 - Episode 72 - ITVX

It starts at about 1 hour in.

There's no mention of it in the pamphlet that came through my letter box, they're making sure the crazy is locked up out of sight of the voting public.

The turn out for the last election was 45%.

It's in their manifesto, which is what Ed Balls was referring to:

Work towards a simpler and non-medicalised process for gender recognition, including by pursuing the devolution of relevant powers.

LGBTQ+ - Party of Wales

Just to add, I don't think Rhun ap Iorwerth is totally on board with all the trans nonsense, as he comes across as someone with a working brain. He needs to put his foot down with the loons in his party as the person who has to go on live TV and defend the manifesto.

I was just referring to what's coming through people's door, I doubt many people bother to look at the manifesto's, which they really should do of course.
