Calling London friends: could you be in the photo for the anniversary of the Supreme Court judgement?
This Thursday 16th April is the anniversary of the landmark Supreme Court judgment in For Women Scotland v The Scottish Ministers which confirmed that women means female in law.
At 11.30am we will be taking a press photo with other groups, outside the Supreme Court and the Houses of Parliament, with banners and placards sending the message “The law is clear: why are women still waiting?”.
This will be just a photocall so shouldn’t take more than thirty minutes of your time – it’s really a call-out to people who are in London anyway that day, and can make it there easily. If you are in London and would like to come and be in the photo, please come and join us!
Where to go The Supreme Court building is on one side of Parliament Square, opposite Big Ben and close to Westminster Abbey. We will gather at the court’s main entrance. The Supreme Court on Google Maps.
You don’t need to tell us you are coming – just meet us there!
