Is this yet another Scottish TIM and fraud in multiple directions? Quite a pattern.

A whole 2 and a half years for stealing £300,000 from his aunt. That'll teach him.

Like you say, the Beeb ought to be up for fraud, for pretending that he's her niece.

And his poor aunt passed away before either getting the money back, or seeing her 'niece' face justice.

Cassidy is still claiming that his aunt gave him permission to use the money - although fortunately she made statements to the contrary. Lying about your dead aunt feels even worse than defrauding her, in a way...

How do you know this is a TIM please?

The adam's apple is a clue, plus the build and the facial characteristics. But yes one wouldn't know or even begin to guess from the reporting. It's the fakery in all directions that offends.

I often need a good look, but with him, it was instant, for me.
