NHS trust marks Transgender Day of Visibility but not International Women’s Day

NHS Employer - in fact one already shamed by the X campaign about still allowing staff to self identify into changing facilities. I don’t know what the policy is for patients.

Today we have transgender day of visibility wallpaper plastered over our desktops.

I cannot help but contrast this output with international women’s day which didn’t even merit a mention in trust communications let alone getting IT to change all the desktop wallpapers.

Raise it with your inclusion lead. Most NHS Trusts do quite a lot for IWD so it seems odd.

I thought they had skipped IWD as usually it’s all about celebrating the kind of women with XY chromosomes and they had sensibly decided to avoid that this year.

obviously boring XX women don’t merit anything!!
