Well, in an odd way she's on the right trajectory - she's gone from: I was right but handled the politics of the issue indelicately; to I was right but the politics of the issue couldn't have been finessed by anyone. But I'm not holding my breath for the final realisation: "I was wrong".

I saw a bit of the interview on RS last night when he asked her repeatedly if she believed Isla Bryson was a man and she refused to answer "because people would use it as a gotcha to say I thought all transwomen were men."

Perhaps Jo Cherry has sent her an advance copy of her memoir and she is trying (and failing) to lay the ground for some damage limitation... I cannot think otherwise why she continues to do these embarrassing interviews.

Quite gratifying that this is the part of her career that is making the headlines. Then again, she has made this bed for herself and for us, the more publicity about men in women’s prisons, the better. Delighted she’s chosen this hill to die on.
