😢 oh no. Very, very sad news.

TheAutumnCrow · 20/03/2026 18:20

That’s very sad. She was wonderful.

Bluebootsgreenboots · 20/03/2026 18:22

Oh no. Am shocked.

TemporarilyCantDoMyself · 20/03/2026 18:26

Oh no! A woman who did so much for women. 💔

Tontostitis · 20/03/2026 18:27

Oh no 😞

Swimmingatdawn · 20/03/2026 18:27

What a wonderful woman she was. Thank you Jenni for everything you did for our sex.

ProfessorRedshoeblueshoe · 20/03/2026 18:29

I've just seen this.
RIP Jenni

BoreOfWhabylon · 20/03/2026 18:31

Thank you Jenni.
Rest in Peace.

BananaSkinShoes · 20/03/2026 18:31

Oh that’s sad. 75 seems too young nowadays.

ScrollingLeaves · 20/03/2026 18:41

Very sad. Thank you Jenni, how horribly you were treated by the BBC in standing up for women.

ParmaVioletTea · 20/03/2026 19:01

Oh nooo. And comparatively young nowadays. What a loss.

Quercus5 · 20/03/2026 19:06

Oh no! She was wonderful. Woman’s hour was never the same after she left.

BungledBundle · 20/03/2026 19:06

Very sad news. She was a wonderful broadcaster. (I'm going to try and find her interview with Joan Baez later and watch it in tribute.)

Jellybelly80 · 20/03/2026 19:08

Very sad. I enjoyed her articles on her battles to lose weight. We had a lot in common. I was rather surprised though to read that she passed away a week ago and it’s only being announced now.

StellaOlivetti · 20/03/2026 19:11

How sad. Very true that WH was never the same after she left.

ruethewhirl · 20/03/2026 19:12

Nooo! I knew she was ill, but still really sad to read this.

StabiaGirl · 20/03/2026 19:16

Woman's Hour wasn't Woman's Hour without Jenni Murray.
