I’ve just checked my birth certificate, both long version and the abridged. Neither mention a gender assignment. I feel I may have been shortchanged. Who fucked up? Someone at the maternity hospital? My dad? The registrar?

yeah and now you come to mention it nobody assigned a gender to either of my babies at birth- I was asked to take a look at their genitals so I could observe they were girls - funny that maybe I should complain.
