It's just really sad and depressing :(

so much seems to rely on the police and their attitude to women doesn't fill me with any confidence at all

perhaps they could do with inherent sexism training (rather than all the training about gender ideology)

I think it is very much down to misogyny. In the police and in society. Women are not believed, there aren't enough support services. No wonder mental health plummets. When a woman is terrified, depressed and can't get help I can see how she would become suicidal.

Sad as it is, this report is part of a sucessful campaign by women's groups to get the police and others to acknowledge when there is clear evidence that a woman who has committed suicide was a victim of domestic abuse.

For years this was not acknowledged.

If only Government wasn't cutting funding to support services.

How many women dont know or cant find support and probably dont feel able to talk to family or friends

Too many police forces don't take VAWG seriously. How can we change that?
