Has anybody seen this news? I can't see anything in the article that suggests definition of women and girls is part of the issue but it seems fairly vague to me as to what the actual issue is, other than just they think Rape Crisis Scotland is crap. I'd be interested to know if anyone knows more about this.

Sorry, I see now the article contains a link to some of the background, will read that and report back!

Reporting back: looks like it is about single sex service provision so I'd say this latest development looks like excellent news.

Excellent news

This is the group that was formed some time ago because of Scottish Women's Aid being totally caputred.

But what they are saying is being said by rape crisis support services across the country.

This sounds great, it is time that the focus was returned to women and girls who are victims of rape, and no more attention should be given to the faux women. I'm sad that I had to read the background info before I knew they were talking about real women, it's time we reclaimed what is ours, so everyone knows what someone's talking about when they say women.

Because that isn't what the article is about.

It is about the catastrophic lack of funding for both Rape Crisis and Women's Aid.

And to give the Scottish press their due they have kept up the presure with articles from different perspectives.

Unlike in England where the lack of money is just as bad.

Dont see when papers covering issues of funding cuts bothering to report on the impact of services for women.

Good to see a push for single sex services. Well done those women
