“My removal from the international women’s day event by the police.

I had been asking women’s organisations whether their services were for women only. This caused alarm and distress and the venue, claimed to be privately owned when it’s owned by the council, asked me to leave for asking questions.

I have footage of every interaction that I will upload later so you can see what those questions were and you can judge for yourself.”

Gracious. We can’t discuss KJK on a thread about KJK - it’s “derailing”. We must only discuss KJK in the gentlest, most congratulatory terms.

Do resume discussing KJK while not discussing KJK.

I see that hyperbolic and catastrophising generalisations are your go to discussion tools.

Getting back to the thread topic, do you think that women should be allowed to ask questions about single sex provisions from organisational representatives at International Women’s Day?

You only need to browse through her Twitter feed to see evidence of her swing to white nationalism. Not patriotism, mind: the TR brand of nationalism.

How did you make the leap that because I’ve questioned something about KJK I mustn’t then care about the oppression of women?

I have read her twitter feed every now and then. I have never seen any white nationalism at all. Again, provide actual proof such as screenshots. It's not enough to say 'oh I read it on her twitter feed'. Not good enough Provide proof.

How did you make the leap that because I’ve questioned something about KJK I mustn’t then care about the oppression of women?

You said "Does it not interest you that she has seemed to ride the wave of the latest things to be outraged about: trans, boys in girls sport, Muslims, hijabi-wearing women, Palestine (as opposed to Gaza) … the list goes on. Why could this be?"

What is wrong with KJK caring about those issues???

You're not discussing anything, you casting unsupported aspersions at KJK, the pushback you're getting is because of that. You can make any claims you like, you just need to back them up, you should be able to if you're claims had any merit. Where is your evidence she's a racist?

borntobequiet · 09/03/2026 06:19

KJK is well hated by reality deniers, which tells you all you need to know about them.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 09/03/2026 06:21

Do you think she should be removed from events by the police @ItsNotOrwell? And how far would you go with that? Who else should be removed from events by the police, just people with unpalatable opinions about Islam?

Helleofabore · 09/03/2026 06:31

Maybe it is all just a case of, it is not what is being asked but who is asking it? And it is not what is asked but how it is asked?

Surely serving police officers who at an event with what seems to be the intention to discuss protecting women and that region’s deputy PCC could have said something like, let me take your details and look at any reports we have and discuss it with you as soon as I have found out more to answer your specific questions about that event.

Classic ad hominem and no attempt to address the actual points raised, including that many prominent and genuine GC activists are opposed to your beloved Parker and have publicly cut all associations with her, I see.

Facts you find uncomfortable don't cease being facts because you find them uncomfortable.

I think we have the measure of you now.

Facts that you find uncomfortable don't cease being facts because you find them uncomfortable

Oooh, like 'transwomen are men' 'no woman has a penis' 'humans cannot change sex'?

"You only need to browse through her Twitter feed"
Absolutely. The evidence is abundant of KJK's swing to white nationalism.

Unfortunately, some people are either too lazy or, what I suspect is actually happening here, disinclined to undertake any research that contradicts their fragile bias.

Of possible relevance to what may be happening on this thread and forum, in an article that covers KJK's interview with Canadian far-right nationalist Jean-François Gariépy, Jezebel noted - and I quote - "On the British parenting website Mumsnet, which has become a toxic breeding ground for transphobia, many women praised Parker for appearing on Gariépy’s show. One commenter thanked her for “bringing the truth about genderism to a wider audience.” The approval often noted how hateful Gariépy’s ideologies are before setting that concern aside and agreeing that it’s good to spread the word on anti-trans bigotry"

"How did you make the leap"
Because that is precisely the brand of mental gymnastics perpetrated by certain people. When you attack, or even point out, that figures they idolise are not only not what they seem but are in fact the sort of people that should give any sensible, reasonable member of society pause, they react with illogical nonsense such as you mustn't care about the oppression of women if you have a problem with a white-nationalist.
It'd be laughable if it wasn't so pernicious.

Would you care to post the link to the entire interview with Gariépy so we can all see what was said and the full context? no? Are we just continuing with the regurgitation of other’s opinions and interpretation ?

Helleofabore · 09/03/2026 07:51

And by ‘we’. I mean ‘you’ .

You are the one making the assertions. It is up to you to prove your assertions, not up to us to prove/disprove a negative. It is just laziness, or perhaps lies, that means you can't be bothered to back up your assertions with evidence.

Datun · 09/03/2026 09:00

The most compelling bit of evidence that KJK is a white nationalist is when she once fiddled with her hoody zip in an interview and made a secret sign with her fingers which was only recognisable to other white nationalists.

She even had the gall to laugh about it afterwards. On TV!

That nailed it, clearly.

Shedmistress · 09/03/2026 09:13

Surely the only people that knew she was on a far fight podcast were people....watching far right podcasts?

And I will happily say that I dont care who she spoke to in terms of trying to stop the onslaught of mutilation and castration of kids.

At the time not one centrist or left person would dare mention the issue. So opening up the conversation obviously worked.

Hope that helps.

Let's have a rare moment of honesty on MN; Jezebel aren't exactly wrong in taking that view.

climbintheback · 09/03/2026 09:24

She stands up for and fights for women and girls safety she loves her country and sees the crime stats and no go areas and grooming gang issues, housing, schools, GP, dentists and just like millions of us do, even the Government appears to be realising that the next election is lost without changing tack. Whether you like it or not, good on her and good on all the other women (and men) who have stuck their heads up over the parapet at great risk to themselves and their family - and thankyou.

See that bin in the corner? That's where all the masks that get dropped go. Please clear up after yourself and pop it in there.

Anyone who is being disruptive and disrespectful to others should be removed from events, yes. Not necessarily by police, though. I don’t believe PP was removed because of her opinions, but due to her behaviour and actions.

Where did I suggest she is a racist? In any case, I did suggest her Twitter feed. Did you miss that? Or am I supposed to copy and paste mountains of tweets for posters here to then only say, “She didn’t mean that, but this …” I’m not a mug.

Quite right. And those actions were consistently on form for PP.

All her interactions were recorded and are on her You Tube channel. She was polite and not at all disrespectful. She asked plain English questions. The people chatted to her willingly and with consent.

I'm not discussing KJK. I'm discussing the intolerant, unlawful behaviour of the police and the Deputy PCC when questioned about their previous discriminatory behaviour of failing to protect women's right to speak.
I find it ironic that an event for International Women's Day is when this happened. It's a vacuous publicity stunt to hold an event which excludes the views of a huge number of women. That Deputy PCC ain't no feminist.

Hmm - I saw at least one that wasn’t. I wouldn’t say it called for for her removal from the event, but it was far from polite.
