EHRC on X:

We have concluded our regulatory action on single-sex space policies. All 19 organisations we contacted in August 2025 have now removed policies that misrepresented the Equality Act 2010

One of the responses on that thread is interesting:

"What I'm reading is we need to run the full gamut again. A trans person is discriminated against in their workplace or by a service provider, by being forced to use facilities of sex assigned at birth. Assuming all UK courts go against us, that's EAT + EAT appeal OR county court (depending), then court of appeal, supreme court, ECtHR."

Presumably, if a trans person was discriminated against in the workplace or by a service provider, they would win their case and it would end there. There would be no need for appeal. Sometimes I think trans people forget that they do have rights which will be upheld. What they cannot do is take rights away from others, that's all.
