The times was going mostly ok but too many ‘he‘s’ in there for it to make sense.

The relationship sounds horrifically abusive.

It’s not a competition, bro.

This level of violence is unusual for a woman. She “identified as a man” at the time but now has decided she isn’t one.

FantasyFoodhall · 17/02/2026 03:42

I think as long as there’s a man here to tell us which stories would be preferable to discuss we’re good.
But that poor woman. However the abuser identifies, it’s just awful.

NumbersGuy contributed nothing. Begone with ye.

What a grim scenario.

I wonder if taking wrong-sex hormones is what makes trans people so aggressive? Or if it’s just part of the mental illness?

But thanks for telling us men commit most violence and abuse against women and girls, NumbersGuy. We’d never have guessed otherwise.

Since you want to talk about abusive relationships, here are three stories in the UK that just came out this year. None are trans-related, but I would assume that you're just not posting this thread for click-bait.

My daughter died after her abuser told her to take her own life

Lover, liar, predator: How we took back power from the man who controlled us

Katie’s story: her abusive ex-partner said ‘kill yourself’. When she did, police dropped domestic violence inquiry

If you want to discuss these start your own thread. This isn’t the place for whataboutery.

It's fucking creepy the way you show up on threads with a list of assaulted women.

Do you have a handy file of them or something? Just ugh. Very disturbing behaviour.

This. More evidence of the violence of men.

There is some evidence (anecdotal) that taking testosterone does increase violent behaviour in some transmen.

Her behaviour is definitely unusual for a woman. Not only aggressive but sexually aggressive.

Randomuser2026 · 17/02/2026 06:09

This is so appalling. She was 17, maybe just 18 at the time.

This is the Mumsnet "Sex and Gender discussions" Board. That is why most if not all of the discussions are "trans related".

Why are you gratuitously posting stories about abusive relationships which have no relevance to the focus of this Board?

They are patently "off topic" and there are plenty of other Boards on Mumsnet where you could post them.

There is an A-Z list here:
