Can't get into FB groups without answering the question: "Trans women are..."

Just tried to join this group: The male loneliness epidemic is not severe enough.

I thought it would be a bit of a feminist group... about how men let us down so much... blah, blah, blah. One of the questions to get into it was to define trans women. And obviously, I was supposed to write that trans women are women.

This is madness, isn't it? What have trans women got to do with the topic being discussed in the group?

I don't know... I find the women who go all out to support trans women a bit annoying. I often see posts of cross-dressing men with women fawning all over them. "Gorgeous hun!!!" I don't know what's going on.

I got asked this question a couple of years ago in order to join a light-hearted science related group. I declined the question and therefore the group. They are probably quite happy I didn't join, and so am I.

I just had a look on FB at the group. I gather there has been a bit of a todo going on, accusations of all sorts, people being kicked out etc. It seems this has led to a new private group being formed. The admins of the private group (which I gather came from the original) are led by a TW so that may clarify why the question is there.

If they're using such a question to determine who gains entry to the group, I would see this as confirmation it's not the group for me, quite honestly. I don't waste time with infantile liars.

That question is a very useful time-saver. The expected answer is obvious, therefore so is the group’s mindset.

That group is incredibly “woke” and very heavily TWAW. It was a public group up until quite recently, assume there was some drama that led to them going private

Anyone else having concerns about the title of that group? What is the group about exactly?

It's not a group that I would want to join personally.

I seem to remember I wanted to join a group like this (I think it was useful for small ads or something) and I said "living their best life" and got in. But I'm thinking this was ages ago and lots of people wouldn't know the Correct Answer according to the secret police so they thought it was a guess?

You're trying to join the wrong sort of group!

I sometimes get asked this sort of question when I've been invited to a FB group. I always say transwomen are men and that's always the right answer.

I've clicked on the link and look at the advertised group rules.

Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.

What's the betting that "degrading comments" about "gender or identity" mean correctly sexing men who pretend to be women. Pathetic!
