WTF is going on? There are letters circulating with members alleging bullying, and anyone who asks a question is suspended and comments deleted. The leader calling everyone to urgent meetings with bizarre messaging: ‘there is no letter, and if there is it’s full of lies, and you can’t see the letter just trust us, and ooh look, something shiny!’ Should I cut my losses, cancel my standing order and just follow Let Women Speak?

You are all so self-important that you think every opposition must be coming from HB or one of the co-ordinators. You cannot countenance that some ordinary WRN members might look at what you have been saying and decide that it all sounds pretty demented.

Blimey. I think demented is mild compared to <checks notes> utterly shameless bullshitting and defamation. One of your quotes, I believe.

I was commenting on your behaviour, your hypocrisy, not your use of language.

No hypocrisy here. I'm not the one claiming to be pro-women while trying to force a group with thousands of women in it to implode.

Oh, darling M Rag how adorably delusional—flinging that self-importance accusation like a toddler hurling spaghetti at the wall, all while cowering behind your mythical “ordinary members” shield like it’s some impenetrable fortress. If our points sound “demented” to your rank-and-file, perhaps it’s because they’re echoing the same scripted denial we’ve heard from the top: all deflection, zero substance. But do keep insisting it’s grassroots rebellion; it’s giving “coordinated cop-out” in full technicolor, while the membership stats keep whispering otherwise.

Oh, darling, “thousands of women”? Please. That’s not a membership count, that’s pure fantasy inflation – the same desperate padding we’ve seen from day one while regions bolt, branches fold, and the exodus stats paint a very different picture of a once-hyped group now down to a dwindling echo chamber of true believers.
You’re not “pro-women” while shielding a fragile clique; you’re just gaslighting everyone with made-up numbers to avoid admitting the implosion is entirely self-inflicted. Keep clutching those phantom thousands, pet – it’s giving “hallucinated headcount” in full technicolor while the real headcount keeps shrinking faster than your credibility.

Actually, it was a false accusation made by another little girl when I was at school. As punishment, the teacher made me stand on top of my desk for the rest of the day.

Well, I would have stood there for the rest of the day had the inevitable not happened after some time had passed - how long, I have no idea, but I was still there when the other children went out for Break.

I think you might be able to imagine the outcome of making a small child stand for a long time on her desk and be denied the opportunity to go for a little wee at Break time?

Some girls start very early practicing their sadistic torment of other girls and some of them never grow out of it.

LordArnoldsWife · 05/03/2026 16:56

I shall ignore your barbed comment at the end and otherwise offer my sympathies. I had to stand up to recite the 13 times table in primary school and wet myself in terror.

Fair enough, apologies.
It's my profession and it does attract a handful of that type of person. They are not allowed to be quite so blatant nowadays, but they find other ways of belittling children to try to compensate for their own inadequacies.

A question to all of the posters on the thread

If you were in charge of WRN Ltd
(it exists for solid contractual reasons with web hosts and the ICO)
how would you organise members
to enable the mass FOI sessions and report collation
to enable the social media posting and reach
to coordinate the House of Commons lobby days

if Heather is doing it wrong
what is the right way ?

Oh, darling, if I were in charge of WRN Ltd? Well, first off, I’d scrap the autocratic solo act where Heather Binning’s the sole director, secretary, and queen of the castle, hoarding all the power like it’s her personal fiefdom—complete with bullying allegations, suspended members for daring to ask questions, and those “terrifying witch hunts” that have your own ranks whispering in fear. That’s not leadership; that’s a one-woman echo chamber on steroids, darling, and it’s why branches are folding and the “thousands” myth is crumbling faster than your credibility.
The right way? Start with actual democracy: Elect a proper board through transparent member votes, not this handpicked inner circle of coordinators who parrot the party line while the rest get Zoom-trapped for dissent. Open up finances for real scrutiny (beyond the bare-minimum ICO filings that scream “minimal compliance”), and empower regional reps who represent grassroots voices, not just enforce top-down decrees.
For mass FOIs and report collations: Set up collaborative online platforms where members can crowdsource and contribute without the threat of deletion or exile—think secure, inclusive tools that harness collective smarts, not Heather’s solo script.
Social media reach? Ditch the centralized control freakery; train and trust local groups to amplify messages authentically, boosting engagement without the scripted sneers that alienate everyone outside your bubble.
House of Commons lobby days? Inclusive planning committees with diverse member input, rotating leadership to avoid burnout and favoritism, and real outreach to build coalitions instead of alienating allies with your “imploding” drama.
But here’s the tea, pet: If Heather’s doing it “wrong,” it’s because the whole setup’s a relic of unaccountable power that’s driving your supposed “thousands” (ha, pull the other one—your 2022 online puffery doesn’t match the 2026 exodus reality) straight out the door. Keep clutching that indefensible throne; it’s screaming “desperate denial” in full technicolor while the ship sinks around you.

If you are in good faith - which I doubt - I can answer.
I would go back to the locally organised, collaborative Shoppers model. It’s not difficult to do FOIs that way, groups did that without any need for a registered company. Volunteers write the reports and would continue to do so.
Social media posting? Could not care less. WRN only post on X, everyone on there a
has already taken a side. They can carry on shouting into an echo chamber, who cares.
Lobby days? Oh come on. WRN is hanging on the coat tails of Sex Matters. Those would happen without any input from WRN.

I would point you to the Women Of groups, who operate in a very successful way on a local level, without needing to be told what to do by “leaders”. Women of Surrey has had a brilliant campaign against Surrey Pride. Women of Wessex has taken on Bristol Council. Both have done FOIs and reports, and both attend organised campaigns at Parliament. Local autonomy frees women to achieve their potential. I recommend it.

I will assume that you are asking in good faith as I know deflection is a well used WRN tactic.

That’s polite of you. I am assuming the opposite, as this poster strikes me as a goady fucker.
