Essentially, it looks like the Sex Matters’ case was seen to be ‘jumping the gun’ pending the finalisation of the City of London’s consultation - although the Good Law project comms appears to also treat the outcome as a done deal. And all the comms illustrated with images of all women groups. 🤔

I wonder about the numbers and the question phrasing if 86% of respondents were happy to continue with the trans inclusion policy.

They threw out thousands, which were against mixed sex masquerading as single sex.

Just read the article in the Times on this. The judge has said that it should be done as an individual claiming discrimination through the county court. She has also said that bringing the case was premature as CofL are doing a consultation.

I really don’t understand this as it’s a womens pond and therefore the SC ruling should apply. This judge seems to be saying that individual cases need to be brought not one big case when an organisation is breaking the law. Franky it sounds as though she didn’t want to touch it so has thought of an alternative for her to get out of it.

Is it true that transmen can’t use the men’s pool does anyone know?

It shows what the level of maturity is at the GLP when they use wording like "transphobic group" on an official update on their website.

I believe a group of woman turned up and swam in the men’s pool , some topless ( as men are ) , claiming they identified as men so what’s the problem.
Police were called and they were ejected.

That was 2019 I think. This summer the CoL changed the signage to welcome TM to the men’s pond (not sure if anyone has told the men that, they were well pissed off at Man Friday).

gosh, if that's the case then I think Man Friday should turn up again

.....perhaps having briefed some sex-realist men first who could then bring an individual case of discrimination
or would it have to be a woman bringing that case ???
