mumsnet survey on mumsnet users

Not sure how this works, but found on another MN forum a link to a survey by MNHQ asking users how they feel, use, and more about mumsnet.

Do survey's like this only get posted on some forums.

Have wondered before, but this time there are quite a few sections about feminism so thought it would be here.

Any one else seen it?

As I have completed the survey I know cant acess it.

It might be more effective to link to the thread you found it on. Then we can ask them why it's there but not here.

Its not the point about which forum, and I dont particularly want to ask about it.

I have in the past often seen what seems to be random posting of links to surveys.

In the past I haven't bothered posting on here.

I just thought as many of the questions are about feminism, it would be of interest here.

But you could ask a question on site stuff.

Maybe they rotate it.

Or maybe, and I've now messed it up, they dont want those on the feminist thread to swamp the survey with pro feminist responses!

They may be trying to find out if users of other foums have found themselves drifting into feminism!

I agree. I do answer surveys, but like to know the source and the originating/ surveying organisation.

I am a premium MN member. We are sometimes sent links to surveys which I don’t see anywhere else. I’m not looking for them, though.

Honestly some of you are so pompous and sel important and end up making mountians out of the a mole hill because you want an issue to support one of your obsessions.

It was on Telly Addicts. And for all I know on many others.

So it doesn't prove anything.

As usual, most threads gets hijacked to never be about the issue because so many posters have a point of view they need to talk about whether relevant or not.

And it is form MNHQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oooooooooooooooh, how scary.

What will you learn knowing which forum I saw it on.

If some contrived paranoia is prompting this, ask the source.

And that is done by going to site stuff.

Yes, I could go to site stuff and start a whole new thread with the vague question: 'There's a petition somewhere on this site, can you tell.me.where?'. Or I could just ask the person who knew which petition and where it was, and apparently wanted to raise awareness of it.

Well i just filled it in and agreed that i would be willing to appear on telly and other media outlets.

i want my 5 mins of fame, thanks to users (paranoid pompous, informed, or otherwise), MN has changed my life.
