Trans group threatens to out silent queer members of State Government over extension of Qld puberty blocker ban

The LNP (Liberal-National Party) in Queensland State government (Australia) has extended a ban on puberty blockers, etc for a further 5 years, citing the lack of evidence of any benefit.

A trans group has retaliated, threatening to publicly reveal the names of any politicians who are “queer” but not out.

Well that’ll garner more sympathy for the cause won’t it?

Class act as always. Do they really think they can protest about everything potentially 'outing' them and expect the general public to care when they're happy to do it to anyone annoying them?

Really does remind me of the three year old who insists he bit his friend because they deserved it, but sobs bitterly in outrage if another child clobbers him when he annoys them.

So much for not outing someone and waiting until they’re ready to disclose their identity. Hypocrites.

Lol, they’ve removed the statement about threatening to out politicians and are going to have a board meeting. However they are still pretty much backing the threat and just need to clarify details and language.

They are totally oblivious to the optics of their actions and threats until it is clearly pointed out to them by others.

When I read the comments, all bar a single one were absolutely against both the threats and GI ideology.

Another of these groups showing the world that they have no understanding of how their demands show them to lack the maturity to have a balanced discussion. And certainly they cannot seem to understand that their own behaviour shows why people don’t trust them in any way. Or how their actions directly highlight why people reject their ideological statements.
