He really is a silly sausage. I remember first encountering LOJ when he was 17, and he was giving himself ridiculous airs even then, and all the old codgers on UK Left Network used to chuckle about "future MP Owen Jones".

He's chosen an extremely vicious group to be an ally to, and being scolded by "Stats for Lefties" (they/them) is probably not how he imagined things would be going.

Annoying as I've always found him, he's not in a good place right now, and I'd like to think there's a golden bridge waiting for him.
