I know about 5 years ago I posted on here about my concerns for my, at the time, 15 year daughter having to share PE changing rooms with a 15 year old boy who gave himself a girls name. I got shot down, asked what I was insinuating, told I was being hateful and the thread was deleted by mods within the hour.

That's awful but not surprising . There's a massive campaign amongst culpable adults to deny how this affects children - especially girls.

There's a parent currently posting on here trying and failing to get a school to remove teenage boys from the female changing room in his daughter's school. Nothing he does has any impact. Nobody he writes to - politicians. Ofsted, safeguarding organisations give a fuck. They're all totally comfortable with girls being compelled to undress in front of boys. It's shameful.

I remember that one. I also remember another one where a poster was warning ‘old school’ transwomen that they would lose anything they currently had that depended on ‘kindness’ of women as women were being pushed too far and eventually sanity would prevail. Does anyone remember that one as well?

I also remember that post. Things are much better but too much of this shit is still going on and children are still being harmed. Keep going everyone but oh my I wish it were easier.

I remember this post too. I was lurking at the time and remember thinking what a brilliant post it was.

Bloody hell, that is one hell of a post. So much wisdom on these boards, and so much foresight born of bitter experience.

I’m relatively new here - have lurked and dabbled since about 2021 as I was living overseas in a culture where this was a total non-issue. I think it was one of the Break it Down for Me threads that made me think it through properly, but this shit has been going on for years.

Well I can pretty much say I've been fairly consistent on the subject for eight years.... As have other regulars who still are about. Unlike the slippage and moving of goalposts from activists rowing back.

It's interesting to read eight years later.
