What did I miss? A few months ago she claimed to be detransitioning, then said she wasn’t really and it was all a con trick to infiltrate GC groups…but now seems to be detransitioning again? Did she just claim it was all a con because she was getting so much flack from TRAs?

Oh who knows with her. I think she's now fully detransitioning.
JKR engages with her from time to time, and generally I tend to assume she (JKR) does her due diligence. But I'm not sure I'd trust much the lawyer says, she usually seems about as stable as a 2 legged stool.

Yes I thought she’d made some big announcement about infiltrating GC groups so was confused to see her recently engaging with Gc people. She obviously isn’t very trustworthy so don’t know why they’re engaging with her.

She appears to be a gender critical transgender person who is or was in the process of detransitioning.

I didn't follow every twist and turn, but I think she became mildly GC, got a lot of pushback, and so declared that it was all an "undercover operation" into GCs and disappeared for a while intending to suicide(?) with her TRA reputation restored. Then thought better of it, and is now detransitioned and fully peaked.

I had the same thought about her the other day too.

The thing that always springs to mind though, is that nobody is forced to be so terminally online and take all that shit from the TRAs. She could have just....stopped posting, closed her account and walked away.

There are many people who seem to be addicted to the drama of it all, then bemoan their lot.

I have a twitter account, a pretty good username actually, that I opened when the platform was still new, yet I never posted one single thing, I just cba with all the navel gazing (although I do read things like tribunal tweets, so maybe that makes me a raging hypocrite?). I should dig out the login and see if anyone wants to buy it off me!

I hadn’t been keeping up with her mental health process but I just checked her out on X and she’s peaked hard. I wish her all the healing and peace in the world.

After one short appointment & one letter from my therapist, I was considered an “excellent” candidate for phalloplasty. I did about 4-5 months of hair removal on my arm before I decided against it, both laser & electrolysis. Had I went through with it, I would have had two of the surgeries this year: ripping out my vagina and the creation of the “phallus” using a skin graft from my left arm. They told me that they could get about 6 inches for a “Phallus” from my arm. Looking back, I cannot believe that I was going to mutilate my genitals. It’s pure barbarism. This should not be legal.

I’m glad you posted this, I had wondered when I saw her posting on X the other day in a fairly GC fashion. Last I heard she’d re-transitioned and tried to claim that it was all an undercover operation to ‘expose the GC movement’, which never came to anything as far as I saw and which I suspect was due to TRA blowback. I hope she’s found some sort of peace now.
