Radical with Amol Rajan

I’ve been enjoying Amol Rajan’s new-ish podcast- particularly some of the early episodes (incl with Laura Bates on AI & misogyny) - but am noticing a gap in coverage. Surely, if he’s really committed to tackling the hot and contested topic of our day (as he purports to be) we’d see something on gender ideology, policy and institution capture? Where is Helen Joyce? Has anyone written in to request her as a guest?

I’m not hopeful given the BBC’s track record on this and some of Amol’s past interviews (one on men in women’s sport was a complete soft sud).

I have, and am rather hoping others have too.

Can’t say I’m surprised. Half of University Challenge contestants are blokes in dresses calling themselves Sophie. He’s probably been told by the BBC to stay off the subject to avoid a boycott.

That would be a brilliant episode - asking Helen Joyce why there’s been a number of transwomen on UC.
