Sex Matters have written to Sir Chris Wormald:

"Our letter to Sir Chris asks for the urgent withdrawal of the Cabinet Office’s Gender Identity and Intersex Model Policy Package. ...
Sex Matters has asked Sir Chris, as head of the civil service, to take responsibility for the cross-government model policy which the Cabinet Office recommended. We have asked him to make a clear choice: either publicly state that the actions authorised by the current policy are lawful; or withdraw the policy immediately and instruct departments to disregard it."

I wonder if it will make any difference?

Enough is enough. It is time for @cabinetofficeuk to withdraw its model policy. No more "waiting for guidance". If the policy authorises unlawful conduct it must be withdrawn. https://t.co/eG6trJZ3tC

It amazes me that with the knowledge we have, institutions are still linking an ideology (Gender Identity) with a physical birth anomaly which they then use an outdated term for (‘Intersex’).
You might as well include other ideologies like Scientology, and other birth anomalies like Down Syndrome into the mix!
GI - the belief that your ‘gender’ does not match your sex and that if you change your ‘gender’ you can change your sex - is an absolute nonsense.

Sex Matters are worth every penny of my monthly donation.

Chris Wormald, OTOH, appears to be a bit of a tool. My money's on Maya.

Good. My Sex Matters sub is so worth it.

SexRealistic · 21/11/2025 09:40

I need to get a sub - well done them

OpheliaWitchoftheWoods · 21/11/2025 10:02

I love those women.

Straight forward, well researched and evidenced, able to communicate their information in clear laymens terms, and fearless every time.

ProfessorScorchedTerf · 21/11/2025 10:22

I so pleased I've got a sub with sex matters, worth every penny .

Hoping the fact that Carol Potter had to take early retirement will make a few more ideologues think twice about not following the law.

SinnerBoy · 21/11/2025 15:07

On the 26th of April this year, the five member panel of the Supreme Court ruled and said,

"Comply with the law now."

They did not say,

"Your policies are allowed to trump national legislation. Or if you wish, cavil and say it's all too complicated, oh look! A loophole! Let's wait for the EHRC guidance."

It's simple and easy to follow, anyone claiming otherwise doesn't know what they on about, or is lying.

You've just inspired me to sign up to a monthly donation. Thank you!

Maya said in a recent interview that the EHRC guidance is for service providers not employers. I hadn't realised that, so it's an even less convincing reason for departments to delay staff policy changes.

FarriersGirl · 22/11/2025 17:25

Have cancelled another subscription which was not good value and used that for a monthly sub to SexMatters who look to be worth every penny.

Well done Sex Matters. I’m waiting for the civil service climb down 🍿
