Off topic, and a de-rail, but today's newly-appointed professors (congratulations, one and all) may like to know that on those drop-down lists of professions to select from on insurance websites, "professor" is immediately adjacent to "professional wrestler". It does sound a bit love-triangle-ish but relationships end and others start for all sorts of reasons, there's no reason to believe that MD was a ..what did somebody say upthread? 'a partner stealer'. Like the partner was property left lying around for MD to steal..

I was waiting for a reason for NC to have brought up this aspect of MD's life, but I don't think any was revealed - it involved just one organisation, not all of the groups CCed on 'that email', so why mention it?

What a day Sean Doherty must be having! I wonder whether he knew this?

This came up in cross at the beginning of the ET when SD put it to her that she had lied on the crowdfunder by claiming she had been suspended. She agreed she hadn't actually been suspended and so he put it to her that if she will lie about that won't she lie about everything.

Which seems a bit desperate of them given that the case is constructive dismissal, amongst other things, and given that constructive dismissal isn't actual dismissal surely this is small beer and doesn't establish her as a liar because she had, in effect, been constructively suspended before constructive dismissal.

He might as well claim she's a liar for bringing constructive dismissal to an ET because she resigned.

I think the partner was brought into it to offer a reason for MD to have had no contact with that group since 2011 until early July 2023 when MD needed anti-Sara allies more than she needed to avoid her partner's ex?

I don't recall any other witness requesting any so many breaks.
