Not only was I a sixer, I also played "Mary" in the church nativity play!

I had my photo in The Catholic Pictorial over half a century ago. Canonised as:
St. Kitty.
The Patron Saint of Autoclaves, Toasters, and Bigly Screens.

Actual boggling here.

LoveIceland · 17/11/2025 14:05

This would all be very exciting except it’s all
stuff we know about from the weekend’s sleuthing on here! Almost feels like an anti-climax! Well done wims

Looks like the recusal application has been C&Pd from Mumsnet - let's hope we got it right!

(Edit: spelling)

Edited

I hope so!

Tribunal is sitting. The parties have nothing to add to the written submissions for the recusal application and response. Members of the press have been heard and the judge has allowed the submissions to be handed to the media. I'll post them up asap!

Judge retires to consider submissions. Judgment will be at 2.30pm

Edited

Sorry not sorry cos I'm seething with jealously never having had a badge for anything for interrupting the flow, but - I was wondering if the judge would appear and say she was recusing herself because she had given an explanation for DB's recusal which she, the judge, knew to be untrue..
Apparently not?

Material in NIPSA’s annual reports for 2015, 2016 and 2017
-Its General Secretary’s 2020 announcement of “Transgender Awareness Week :
-Its Branch Reps’ LGB&T Toolkit (undated, but internal evidence suggests...

... that it was first published in about 2014, and updated in 2016)
-Its 2021 conference paper “Gender Neutral Toilets in Workplaces”

-The appearance of NIPSA’s logo on the Northern Ireland Women’s Manifesto page at p.14 of the recusal bundle put before the tribunal on Friday 14 November."

"The Toolkit and 2021 Conference paper, in particular, provide dismaying indications of NIPSA’s willingness to make confident false assertions about the law which have the effect of prioritising the claims of trans people without regard to effects on women"

"single sex toilet facilities - A common issue raised by staff is the use of toilet facilities. While every effort should be made to deal with concerns amongst staff it should be made clear that once [x] begins the process of transition they will use the appropriate facilities"

"it is not acceptable to insist that a trans individual use the facilities of their birth sex or the accessible/disabled toilet. This could amount to unlawful discrimination; and..."

Do you remember the Pixie song?

No
I remember the brownie code
‘ I promise that I will do my best to do my duty to God to serve the Queen and to keep the Brownie…..something something?

( we sang lots of religious songs, I’m curious now )

I am wondering where anyone can find any Trade Union type person to sit at an Employment Tribunal whose organization isn't heavily tainted by genderwang. Mars, perhaps?

1970's - don't go off with adults you don't know
Today - if your classmate says he's a girl then he's a girl

Today - if an adult is wearing a rainbow badge saying ‘you’re safe with me’ you should allow them to accompany you to the toilet

This ideology poisons everything it touches

Having helped with the NHS audit, I can verify that we are indeed the viperiest Miss Marples that ever existed.

"showers/ changing facilities/sleeping accommodation/ lockers etc – (Shared use of these facilities to be agreed in discussion with [x] and colleagues to ensure that everyone is comfortable with the arrangements and the dignity of all concerned is taken into consideration)."

"The tribunal is also referred to the following “key activities” said to have been undertaken by NIPSA’s LGB&T group at section A7 of its 2016 Annual Report:"

NebulousSupportPostcard · 17/11/2025 13:59

The Judge is reading mumsnet in her chambers right now and the 2.30 judgement will name mumsnet names for being badder than the worst fake employment judge.

I do hope she addresses me correctly

fanOfBen · 17/11/2025 14:10

Perhaps the right response to the observation that Trade Unions are universally tainted by gender ideology is that they are no longer suitable organisations to be looked to to provide panellists for Employment Tribunals. Mumsnetters instead?

weegielass · 17/11/2025 14:10

So it’s not about DB but about mckeown.

they really should have done due diligence

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 17/11/2025 14:10

If the judge has retired to consider the submissions, does that mean that McKeown is sat there with the whole court looking at him?

This may be part of NC’s wider game plan. Ie, the whole of the “establishment” has been captured. You will need to take great care to find an “uncaptured” panel.
