I met Dave Prowse at a comic con once, he was very sweet but didn't really chat (he gave me the same comment he'd given to the woman before me). I didn't mind as it was clear he was getting on a bit and it was towards the end of the day so he was clearly knackered, plus I was too busy fangirling. I'm grinning like a demented chipmunk in the picture I got 😂

I''ve mentioned before that when I was Very Small, I sent off a load of Quaker oats packet tops (and probably a postal order), and got myself a fine certificate, stated that I was now a member of the Biggles Air Police, and I felt it best that a GRC should be afforded similar status. Frame it and hang it on your bedroom wall if you wish, but it doesn't entitle you to access any areas other men can't.
