She lost my sympathy at 'Zionist agenda', because it suggessts that her agenda is anti-Zionist (anti-semitism with a left-wing face). FWIW, I think she is right about Likud and Netanyahu (though I would not use the term 'fascist' - I doubt it fits) but she ruins her point by accepting Hamas' take on the war which they started this time round without any understanding that they are a terrorist organisation, and one currently inflicting death on opponents on the streets of Gaza.

From my experience, most left wing activist types don't actually know any Jews except for hardcore anti-Zionist left wingers, and have no concept of how unrepresentative those people are. They might even believe "many" Jews hold that position, but they're massively oversampling Alexei Sayle.

We have one of these in Australia called Sarah Swartz. She dines out in the left wing press as their go to Jew and her schtick is “I’m not like those other Zionist Jews”.

Completely unrepresentative of most of Australia’s Jews but absolutely feted by the progressive left.

It's basically impossible to get 83% of Jews to agree on anything. A friend who used to be on the Board of Deputies says that there are 300 deputies, and that means there are 400 opinions. So that level of consensus has to be taken seriously.

The left have got their own Jews, and either don't realise or don't care how marginal they are in the Jewish community. They're only slightly more representative than that Sikh guy who joined the BNP because he had a beef with Muslims.
