He's launched a crowdfund to hire a proper detective to look into the small group of men who abuse the law and the police to silence and harass women and campaigners. Stated aim is to get evidence that's of sufficient standard to use in court.

The interesting thing to me is that the initial target was £3k and after about 12 hours, he's already raised £4k.

But don’t a lot of TRAs frequent Reddit? And doesn’t Reddit have very misogynistic sub forums? And host porn sharing forums? And sub forums discussing harming women? So I hope you’re condemning all those who know/frequent Reddit? If not, why not?

Evidently you and I are reading different threads. In every thread where I've seen it mentioned, the subject was brought up by a drive-by scolder. There wasn't much discussion, possibly because there isn't much interest.

No, it is civil, not criminal. He has no convictions and none for violence. You really cannot tell the truth for love nor money can you. Perhaps he should sue you for defamation.

Can you back up your statement with links? Advanced Search shows only one thread about kiwi farms, and it is not a stand alone topic, the thread also has reddit in the title as well, and, the thread is in Chat, from 2020. None in FWR exist.

Yep, I just looked again. I entered 'kiwi farms', went to choose topics - chose the two feminist sections, selected title only and then title and OP only, and NO RESULTS. So I think you've been caught out telling porkies.

There's at least 3 of them as well from what I can see.

That is rather an exaggeration on your point. They are not recent at all. And those continuation threads were discussing a specific issue of the site being attacked and who might have been attacking the site, from what I remember. I have not been to the site so I only know about it from what was posted, but I read bits about it on the threads as it was relevant to denial of service attacks.

I think you have exaggerated its use and the mention of it on MN. One of the only people I see who mentions it frequently on this site is ChisApple. Maybe you see ChrisApple in their different usernames mentioning it and think more users are talking about it.

But then there a lot of threads discussing that cesspit Reddit. Just because there is a thread on something doesn’t mean people support it. Is there a difference between Kiwi Farms and Reddit? Both seem full of unpleasant people and very misogynistic. I assume you also disapprove of Reddit?

CA brings us all the goss from the farms. I think they’re a regular visitor there.

Oh yeah, wasn’t there a long phase where posters were deleted for writing ‘Kiwi Farms’ (why??) and referred instead to:

I remember visiting KF to read about JY in Vancouver. That was quite the eye-opener.

I honestly wouldn’t know how to find it these days though.

Btw the MN search engine isn’t very good. I find it’s better to step outside the site and use, eg, Google.

The Farms is still around and accessible, uses a .st web address.
