Glinner: let's hire a private detective

He's launched a crowdfund to hire a proper detective to look into the small group of men who abuse the law and the police to silence and harass women and campaigners. Stated aim is to get evidence that's of sufficient standard to use in court.

The interesting thing to me is that the initial target was £3k and after about 12 hours, he's already raised £4k.

This might be fun😁

Have planted some carrots and a few sprigs of kale. Looking forward to a fine crop - here’s to actionable evidence.

Doing so this publicly is surely counterproductive. Could he not stretch to £3k or £4k himself?!

£6,150 now - funny how saying dont contribute always pushes up donations.

He has to keep his lifestyle in the way he's become accustomed. In his luxury apartment with swimming pool facilities. If memory serves correctly, his £2000 a month apartment.

(As much as I think he's done a lot, there's bits of what he's doing that make me uncomfortable and are hard to reasonably justify).

I didnt donate to his last fundraiser as I didnt agree with him. This one doesnt just benefit Glinner.

He lost a lot, I dont begrudge him making some money in America. Who knows for sure what he's paying in rent or whether it's been provided for him.

I donated because I want someone to do something about this specific group of TRAs. I hoped for a documentary- I think it could be fantastic, but maybe this will lead to some sort of expose. I noted that one of the last donators was 'Tandora' - is that anyone from here with a naughty sense of humour ?!

Absolute idiocy to tip off those you want to investigate and this is well within the remit of his existing fundraiser: it's precisely the sort of thing that his team should be spending existing funds on to strengthen his case.

And stunts like this are why some of us who have faced similar harassment from the same men are no longer updating and sharing information with him. He'll likely post it on Twitter in an angry and/or drunken rage and harm ongoing proceedings.

Where does it say that the unpaid labour of women is funding his lifestyle? I was actually under the impression that he did pay his substack contributors.

I won't be contributing because I'm skint, but people can decide for themselves, surely. You should always check out any requests for donations carefully, whoever they are from.

It seems to be a Christian run website. A lot of the fundraising and crowderfunder sites have caved in to TRA demands and shut down crowdfunders for GC people so he may have a limited choice of platforms that he can use
