I don’t think it would wash here. TERF Island is a lot quicker to push back on stuff like this, as the comments attest, and the government increasingly sees anything related to gender - especially for children - as a third rail to be steered well clear of.

I think the fight will never be over. The genie is out of the bottle; fetish and kink have been given a place on the high street, and mens’ rights activists are always pushing for more.

Remember, also, that the terven in general are women who grew up thinking that we had equality, until age, motherhood, the glass ceiling or sexual assault opened our eyes. The young women who are currently in the stage and mindset that we were in 20-30-40 years ago will have grown up under the influence of Be Kind, TWAW, Right Side of History etc. We struggle to understand women who are willing to give away women’s safety, dignity, achievements etc to men. I suspect that there will be even more of these women when today’s youngsters reach our ages.

What a mess of a report! it is a perfect illustration of why adding TQI++++ to LGB invalidates the whole basis for the report.
It uses 'intersex' as a category.
It quotes stats from the EU's own 'FRA' survey of LGBTIQ people, but FRA survey itself admits that

Although the results cannot be considered as representative of all LGBTIQ people in the EU, they constitute by far the largest collection of empirical evidence on discrimination and hate crime against LGBTIQ people worldwide since FRA’s surveys in 2012 and 2019.

100,577 people who self-IDed as LGBTIQ out of a EU population of over 450 million completed the online survey.

Nonetheless, the report is happy to state as fact that
According to the FRA’s third LGBTIQ survey, 24% of LGBTIQ people have experienced conversion practices, including physical and sexual violence, verbal abuse and humiliation. This figure almost doubles to 47% for trans women and 48% for trans men.
