My DCs primary is supporting 'hello yellow' day today. They wear yellow, have an assembly about mental health and ask for donations to the charity Young Minds.
.
Anyone come across Young Minds before? I looked them up to see what their position is on gender stuff. They have a gender identity page. Its got a few things that aren't in line with Cass (e.g. use a childs preferred pronouns) but its not too far from being a neutral generic primer. It then signposts to further resources which all seem to be gender activist orgs (mermaids, gendered intelligence etc).
They have a 'Help us improve our content' form where you can submit suggestions. I've suggested they review the GI page and ensure they are in line with Cass, draft DfE guidance and consider if they wish to link to orgs that advocate for approaches not in line with Cass like Transgender trend and Genspect.
