Hampstead Heath Ponds

I’m too technologically challenged to post a link but Hampstead Heath Pond website has a survey asking for people’s thoughts on whether access to the ponds should be on the basis of biological sex or not Thought this might be of interest, currently the facebook page is full of very negative comments regarding any mean women who don’t want to share, so any opposite points of view could be helpful.

Like doing a survey from a decade ago, really I expected a question asking if I was an evil terf or a saintly trans woman

A number of the questions claim that the status quo is "trans men" are permitted to use the Men's Pond. This is a lie. They permit "trans women" to use the Ladies Pond but the Men won't tolerate sharing with girls even if they think they are boys.

I agree - it is so disingenuous - and the police let them exclude - can you imagine how many women they would arrest if it was the other way around? I think it is ridiculous that a public body is paying for a consultation on how to ignore the law.

This is like the survey done at Leonardos where they asked staff for their opinions on mixed sex toilets.

They recognize that the women who identify as men would not be safe in that environment. If only they could apply the same logic to men in the women’s pond.

About six. I told them - though whether it all went through I am not sure. Not always brilliant technically! I got an email and pressed a button confirming comment, so presumably!
