I just stumbled upon this six months old article on reddit now, and thought it was interesting.
https://www.reddit.com/r/transgender/comments/1jqls5d/a_trans_girl_was_banned_from_her_track_team_now/
(There is a link to the news article in the first thread).
It’s about a 18 year old male who identifies as a woman, who protests the ruling that he can’t play on the girls team by actually playing on the mens team. Where he sucks. He can only throw the discos half as long as the other men.
What I found funny is also the level of delusion among the trans ideologists on reddit, where he is portrayed as a sort of brave martyr for actually playing on the team of his biological sex:
«This is actually a pretty great article. It takes guts for her to put herself out there like that. But the article also makes a point to show that her best discus throws are barely half the distance of the average throw on the boys team. This is how you slowly start changing public perception - visibly standing out and showing that playing on the team of your AGAB isn’t the magical solution that they think it is.»
I can’t see anything else than that the journalist and the trans activists are implying that he must be considered a woman because he sucks so bad in sport? And that if more brave trans women sucked in male sports leagues we would finally understand that these weak men must be allowed to compete against women?
That’s laughable!
Perhaps he would have sucked in sport either way, like most people.
Another journalist had a different perspective on it:
