Trans athlete proves he is a woman by sucking in sports

I just stumbled upon this six months old article on reddit now, and thought it was interesting.

https://www.reddit.com/r/transgender/comments/1jqls5d/a_trans_girl_was_banned_from_her_track_team_now/

(There is a link to the news article in the first thread).

It’s about a 18 year old male who identifies as a woman, who protests the ruling that he can’t play on the girls team by actually playing on the mens team. Where he sucks. He can only throw the discos half as long as the other men.

What I found funny is also the level of delusion among the trans ideologists on reddit, where he is portrayed as a sort of brave martyr for actually playing on the team of his biological sex:

«This is actually a pretty great article. It takes guts for her to put herself out there like that. But the article also makes a point to show that her best discus throws are barely half the distance of the average throw on the boys team. This is how you slowly start changing public perception - visibly standing out and showing that playing on the team of your AGAB isn’t the magical solution that they think it is.»

I can’t see anything else than that the journalist and the trans activists are implying that he must be considered a woman because he sucks so bad in sport? And that if more brave trans women sucked in male sports leagues we would finally understand that these weak men must be allowed to compete against women?

That’s laughable!

Perhaps he would have sucked in sport either way, like most people.

Another journalist had a different perspective on it:

The Washington Post Inadvertently Revealed The Truth About Puberty Blockers | Independent Women's Forum

The Washington Post recently published a story titled, “A trans girl was banned from her track team. Now she’s competing with the boys.” It follows Eliza Munshi, an 18-year-old male who identifies as transgender. Munshi joined the girls’ track team ear...

So all males who aren’t in the top tier of sporting ability must be women? Do they actually ever think these ridiculous statements through?

Dragonasaurus · 01/10/2025 16:07

Hahaha, some people (me included!) just aren’t that great at sport. There will definitely be a place where he (alongside other not-very-talented men) can do the sports he wants, with other males. Maybe one day he’ll be good enough to compete. Maybe his medical choices mean that he never will - actions have consequences. It is not women’s job to fix this

Greyskybluesky · 01/10/2025 16:20

I love the TRA logic that he's protesting "anti-trans sports bans" (i.e. being told to compete in the category of his sex) by....competing in the category of his sex

It's a protest I can get behind

murasaki · 01/10/2025 16:26

I'd be shit on the women's team. Does that mean I get to play with the under 10s?

JellySaurus · 01/10/2025 16:27

So men who are not very good at sport should compete in the women’s section. Where should the women who are not very good at sport compete?

SirEctor · 01/10/2025 17:01

I'd definitely throw the discus much shorter than female athletes, so that means I must be 10 years old.

SirEctor · 01/10/2025 17:02

Damn I see that wasn't very original 😅

Sorry didn't notice others had already done that joke.

soupycustard · 01/10/2025 19:45

Well on that basis, I should identify as an Under-11 in my sport because I can definitely still beat some of them. Whereas I would 'suck' against the Under-21s.

userwhat632 · 01/10/2025 20:16

So they encouraged this poor kid to destroy his health, then say oh it’s ok it’s not because you’re terrifyingly unhealthy, it’s because your body has really turned female, here’s the proof!

The shock he’ll get if he decides he wants kids one day.. or just orgasm.

Igmum · 04/10/2025 15:59

I’m another person who is rubbish at sports. Why did no-one tell me that I just need to find someone I can beat and identify as them? Admittedly in my case it would probably be inattentive 3-year olds but there must be someone out there more useless than me.

Spectacularly missing the point! 😂

Oh dear.

thirdfiddle · 05/10/2025 10:28

Being bad at sport means you're female? My son is definitely a girl then. He even has long hair to seal the deal. Case closed. I'll let him know - he will be surprised but y'know, I'm sure he'll get used to the idea in time.
