*TRIGGER WARNING* TIM abuser in Australia has sentence reduced and sent to female prison…

* TRIGGER WARNING *
CSA

This is happening in my country. I cannot believe it is the reality of life in Australia in 2025. This is the stuff of nightmares.

A TIM was tried and convicted of CSA - against his own 5 year old daughter. He not only abused her, but also recorded and disseminated CSA material.

The judge:

ordered the man be referred to during the trial with she/her pronouns,

chose a female name as a pseudonym for the TIM (to prevent identification of the child),

sentenced the convicted man to serve time in a female prison,

reduced the severity and length of the sentence given due to the “coercive control” the TIM suffered, and his vulnerability as a “relatively young” TIM.

This is sickening. It is wrong. It is abhorrent. It is reality now in Australia.

How could anyone even think this is acceptable, let alone be complicit in enacting, enforcing and glorifying GI ideology?

Your judges sounds as criminally incompetent as some of ours are. Perhaps such horrendous stories will help people understand what's going on and they'll start rejecting this disgusting stupidity.

Unfortunately, mainstream media won’t touch this story. All msm is completely captured, either not reporting at all or biased 100% in favour of GI.

Most in Australia don’t even realise what is happening as the media refuses to cover the issues and the legislation changes were snuck through without any consultation or publicity.

It feels overwhelming.

I'm so sorry @WTFAustraliaThisIsWhatHappensHereNow I lived in Australia for a bit a couple of decades ago - most sexist country I'd experienced, and so this doesn't surprise me. It's Federal law that gender identity trumps sex.

Have you been following Sal Grover's case against Mr Roxane Tickle (I kid you not, that is his name)? The judge was similarly unreasonable.

We should all help Ms Grover - she's trying to get the law changed. I think there's a list of these kinds of cases here in FWR, for pay day when people have a bit of extra "compost" to donate to Ms Grover's garden.

Good God. Firstly, I think the news anchor is showing heroic levels of calm, poise, and decorum whilst reporting this horrific story.

And I agree with the first part of what @TheywontletmehavethenameIwant has said about judicial incompetence; frankly the judge in this case should be removed from their office.

WTFAustraliaThisIsWhatHappensHereNow · 30/09/2025 13:48

Incredibly, Sall’s case blatantly demonstrates the absolute capture of the judiciary and media - hell even the Australian Sex Discrimination Commissioner intervened in the case AGAINST women/Sall/Giggle.

From what I read Australia is eyeballs deep in this. Is it true that it was Julia Gillard who removed women’s sex based legal protections and replaced them with protections based on which gender stereotypes the person prefers?

Yes - the law was changed by Gillard without notice and agreement of the people of Australia. Snuck through on the back of other legislation being enacted. Australia’s first female PM destroyed female rights, removed sex from the sex discrimination act and replaced sex with gender.

JFC! We've had men convicted of sexual assault and "consuming" paedophilic pornography given reduced sentences, even if they're aren't TIM's. It beggars belief how little kids and women's lives matter.

Haulage · 30/09/2025 14:00

Teresa May wanted to do the same in the UK. What is it with these female politicians working to actively remove women’s rights? Bloody fools.

TheSandgroper · 30/09/2025 14:26

I don’t get Sky so hadn’t seen this. I wish she wouldn’t use the word transwoman. I wish she would just say “a man who calls himself a woman “ or some such.

Helleofabore · 30/09/2025 14:29

This case has been very distressing to read. The details are horrific! But then you read that the judge gave leniency due to this man's identity as a transgender person.

In reading some of the previous cases in Australia and the UK, I have come across this leniency giving either non-custodial sentences, even to repeat offenders, or reduced sentences, or sentences in female prisons. This should not be happening.

What men want matters.
The safety of women doesn't.

"Australia’s first female PM destroyed female rights, removed sex from the sex discrimination act and replaced sex with gender."

Just...wow. I don't really know anything about how laws are made in Australia, but don't you have some mechanism for checks and balances, or can a law just be changed at the stroke of a pen without proper consultation?

Note this is not an antagonist question; I genuinely want to hear the answer.

Reduxx reported it last week too, I added it to the It will never happen thread.

When there is a large/important bill being debated, the government seeks to shore up support from independents or greens - to get numbers, majority, etc.

Quite often debate will go for days, with early starts/late finishes or non-stop sessions (sometimes in the last few sitting days before recess/holidays). Compromises are wrangled, and wording is massaged, and often unrelated pet projects are tacked on the end of a huge document (eg. A greens policy will be added as a sweetener to allow the bill to pass).

Sometimes, at the end of a novel-thickness bill, the government will drop in their own special addition (eg. Gillard’s gender reforms) - and the whole lot will be passed. Any later dissent is waved away by saying the bill was debated thoroughly, over many days, and that is that.

Australia has no safe spaces, no safety for women, no sense of biological reality, and vast numbers of the population don’t even know what is happening.
