I couldn’t see this posted elsewhere but apologies if it is. From The Times - some alarming stats about the prevalence of DSD athletes in the female category. Not convinced about the ‘small number’ able to continue either : https://archive.is/3dKDD. And: www.thetimes.com/sport/athletics/article/athletes-tokyo-world-championships-male-biological-advantages-2nk8lx38s

Thank you for this article.

It is a grim reminder of what has happened. But also, that WA has ‘grandfathered’ a group of male people with DSDs to continue their ‘careers’ if they keep their testosterone below 2.5 nmol/L.

It is kind of Yay!!! … but nah… if only they had the courage to say ‘No more!’ Because, of course, we also know that these male athletes can keep competing at elite levels for much longer than female athletes. And suppression of testosterone is not removing physical advantage such as skeletal advantages etc. It certainly doesn’t address the issue of menstrual cycle in any way either.

Well there's a surprise.

Adjusting a man's testosterone so that he can compete with women has always been ludicrous. We are not the same as men with low testosterone.
