It's a pretty eye-opening thread. She's been harassed, threatened with violence, had her children threatened - by the same people who have now got Graham Linehan in court.

But have the police done anything to stop SEVEN years of stalking, harassment, and violent threats ?

I don't agree with much of what K-JK says about some other aspects of current politics, and I am sceptical of the current accusation of "two-tier poloicing" but this is something else.

TRAs just contacted all the companies she was using to facilitate her activism (so T shirt suppliers and payment processors etc) and dobbed her in for Hate Speech. If the companies then looked her up online to see what the TRAs were wanging on about they would obvs find her Wikipedia page which has been authored by the various Tech TRAs that rule over their pet wiki pages with metaphorical rods of iron whilst wearing thigh high striped socks.

My heart breaks for the courage of these women who speak up for truth and justice despite the danger and the risks. And yet maladjusted violent male scum get away with it every time. It’s is truly depressing how much men really do hate women.

I'm certainly getting more and more depressed reading MN lately. It's like there's been some switch of polarity in society; the so-called Left (most of them) are behaving like right-wing bully-boys. And now people like Toby Young (someone I've always been suspicious of) are the good guys? Seems to me that the FSU, at least, is doing good work. But isn't he doing what should be the Left's job for them? Sticking up for people that have been bullied, and aren't getting a fair deal?

This particular group of men seem to be able to get the phone number of anyone they wish to harass. During Glinner's court case there was a brief mention of how this was possible, with the lad saying something had now been "patched". Which suggests a security breach in somebody's systems.

Made me wonder if someone was hacking police systems, perhaps someone with prior access. Which I'd have thought is a pretty serious crime.

So I have now submitted a full complaint to the Independent Office for Police Conduct. I have laid out the evidence, the timeline, and the failures.

This is horrific. Thanks for sharing. The one faint upside is that, since the Glinner case, the names of these people are becoming increasingly well-known. I feel as if they (and the police) are due a long-awaited reckoning, which may help KJK. I mean, descriptions of her daughter’s room?!!

Every time I see something that feeds the ‘two tier’ trope I groan. It’s like a section of society are lining up to feed racists and bigots quality material to use maliciously.

I think I need an internet break. It’s getting a bit overwhelmingly dispiriting. I need to close my eyes and pretend it’s ok for a bit.

Certain men have been able to game the system to a truly shocking degree. Weaponising the basic misogyny that runs through our institutions like sticks of rock. It's their unfailing MO.

But the shift in peoples understanding has absolutely happened. And now the sunlight is on them, their names, their associations and their tactics.

And yes, there are quite blatant double standards. KJK was hauled into a police station and threatened with arrest, over using the word castration, ffs.

And it was everywhere. Women were kicked off Twitter, Mumsnet, Facebook, the lot.

i'm not sure if those newer to the issue quite understand exactly what it was like. Women truly had to go underground. They still do in many cases.

But perception has definitely shifted. And it's women like KJK who have helped make that happen.

I avoid talking about much of this as you never want these arseholes to know they’ve had any impact on your life.

Women everywhere should not be forced into living like this.
